$ RECYCLE.BIN actually it is not a virus, $ RECYCLE.BIN is a directory created by Windows to hold temporary files that you delete on your computer.
So actually if you remove (Delete) a file on Windows, the file is not immediately deleted but placed in the Recycle Bin (Trash). The goal is to be a backup / backup at any time if it turns out you're wrong remove or delete your files you need back.
To ensure that the files you delete completely missing from the Recycle Bin, you can right-click on the [Recycle Bin] and select [Empty Recycle Bin]. The trick is to right click on the [Recycle Bin] and select [Properties]. On the "Recycle Bin Properties" you select the "[Do not move files to the Recycle Bin. Remove files immediately when deleted.]
If the virus forge itself as Recycle.bin he will have an extension that can be executed as "recycler.exe" or "recycler.inf" and this is usually followed by the file "autorun.inf" in the root directory.
Supposedly if your computer uses an updated antivirus program then he would be able to protect your computer from virus autorun who forged himself as a recycle bin.
